For studio owners

Your studio is listed. Here’s what that means.

DanceStandings lists youth competition dance studios across Texas so parents can compare them. It’s free, there are no paid placements, and studios are always shown A to Z.

Why your studio is listed

We list studios with a competition team, using what each studio publishes on its own website. Every sentence on a profile links to where it came from.

Claim your listing

Open your profile and press “Claim this listing”. If your email is on your studio’s own domain, you’ll get a code by email; otherwise we confirm by calling the number on your website. Once you’ve claimed it you can correct your programs, ages, phone number and registration link, write a short About in your own words, and show the “Claimed by the studio” badge.

You’ll also see how your website did in our check compared with other studios in your area, and you can hide the listing at any time.

The free check

Our free check opens your website on a phone and looks at what a parent sees: your offer, how to reach you, how to book and pay, and how quickly the page shows. You get a results page and a free dashboard.

Questions

Do you rank studios in public?
No. Public lists are alphabetical. Each area gets a summary of patterns, and only a studio’s verified owner sees where it came in our check.
Does the check measure teaching or competition results?
No. It looks only at how easy your website makes it for a parent to find you and sign up.
Who runs DanceStandings?
BookDanceLessons runs it. We build websites for dance studios and answer their calls and messages.
Can I remove my listing?
Yes. A verified owner can hide it straight away from the edit page, or anyone can ask on the corrections page.
